What Sets Us Apart
Meet Dr. Hersey
 Dr.
Hersey’s gentle demeanor and years of experience working with children in
the dental health setting allows him to deliver the highest quality of care
to each child.
He grew up in the Puyallup area and attended Rogers High School. He received
his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington, School of
Dentistry in 1994. He then did a general practice residency at Yale in New
Haven, Connecticut after which he received his Masters of Science in
Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Washington in 1997.
Dr. Hersey is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pierce County
Dental Association, the Board for Dental Health Day and a member of the
Northwest Network for Interdisciplinary Dentistry. Dr. Hersey
regularly attends continuing education courses and study club meetings.
Dr. Hersey’s personal interests lie in the areas of his family, wife Dayna
and their two very active sons Zachary and Ryan. He is dedicated to service
with his church and the local community. His professional goal is to be
actively involved with pediatric dentistry and providing high quality
treatment to his patients.

Dr. Hersey believes his greatest asset in
treating children is not his office or his most advanced piece of dental
equipment. Without a doubt, it is his staff. They are a
wonderful group of ladies who have a genuine love for children. Their
friendly smiles, gentle ways and patient attitudes are responsible for their
success in calming fears and turning frowns into smiles.

Dr. Hersey carefully selected
our professional team based on experience, skill, education, and
personality. The result is a team that delivers an absolutely
unrivaled level of expert personal care to each and every patient.
We find children do very well with
restorations and other procedures when given gentle direction and
careful explanations of each dental procedure by our highly trained
team.
